Application

The 2011 application period opened on May 1 and closes on July 15. The process consists of:

• filling out an online application
• if you qualify, interviewing with an advisory panel.

An advisory board made up of private sector professionals and leading entrepreneurs carefully considers each application, looking to identify a pool of 20 to 30 of the state’s “best of the best” entrepreneurs to participate in the program that begins this fall. 

While the focus is primarily on innovative entrepreneurs with scalable business concepts, there are no rigid limitations on the type of individual or company that may apply.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to offer this program at the heavily subsidized price of only $500. Actual costs plus the market value of volunteer mentors' time is closer to $8,000 per entrepreneur accepted. There is no application fee; program fees will be payable upon acceptance in August.
