Bruce joined the Bangor Savings Bank executive team in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer. He is a Maine native and a Maine licensed CPA with over 25 years of financial institutions experience that includes banking, property & casualty insurance, private/venture capital and wealth management. In addition to his work at Bangor Savings Bank, he currently serves on the Board of Unity College, the Advisory Board of CEI Ventures, Inc., (a Portland Maine based socially responsible venture capital firm), the Board of the Bangor Region Development Alliance (a consortium of local municipalities, organizations and private companies working toward a common goal of regional economic development), the Board of the Bangor YMCA, the Steering Committee of the Friends of the Maine Center (a working group of Bangor region business people committed to supporting a new regional event and convention center to replace the antiquated Bangor Auditorium and Civic Center) and as the Treasurer of The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation & as a Member of its Grant Review Committee.
