Chris has over 20 years of software business experience during which he has led four start-ups resulting in one IPO and three sales to public companies. Prior to Metalogix, Risley was the CEO of StreamBase Systems where he continues as Chairman; CEO of Nominum, Inc., the DNS and DCHP Software company which resolves queries for 160 million broadband subscribers worldwide where he still serves on the board and is Chairman of the Executive Committee; and he was also CEO of NewChannel, an e-business service provider. Risley's background also includes Chairman and CEO of ON Technology Corp., a network software provider for which he led their IPO in 1995 and their listing as the 36th Fastest Growing Public Companies by INC 100 within the next year and grew ON's revenues by 2,700 percent over five years. Risley has also served as Entrepreneur-in-residence at Bessemer Venture Partners, and has raised more than $150 Million in equity for the businesses he has led from investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, Morganthaler Ventures,  Charles River Ventures and In-Q-Tel (the CIA's Venture Capital Company).
