

Founder, Good Clean Food
Kurt Shisler is the founder of Good Clean Food. Driven by a passion for good, clean food as well as time around the table Kurt led the building of a company around a line of all natural, fresh simmer sauces unique in quality and convenience for busy, food-wise consumers. Raising $1.5 million and achieving nationwide recognition for taste and quality, Kurt’s team established their own production kitchen and achieved distribution in 300 stores including the Whole Foods, Hannaford and Harris Teeter chains.
Prior to Good Clean Food Kurt gained 20 years of cross-functional operating experience in both large and small companies. He holds a B.A in philosophy from Ohio Wesleyan and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kurt has served on several boards including the Ohio Wesleyan University Trustees and the Center for Grieving Children; he currently serves on the Spannocchia Foundation board.
