As Ropewalk's Senior Partner, Meriby defines the strategic approach and method of work that best suits a client's needs. Her background includes more than two decades working with growth companies, including those in information technology, manufacturing, biotechnology, composites and agricultural and food companies. Her specific expertise is in commercialization of new products and services, from conception to launch. Until 2008, Meriby was the Director for the Maine Small Business and Technology Development Center, consulting exclusively to technology startups in the areas of marketing strategy, IP strategy, licensing, product development and executive team building.  In 1990, Meriby founded the Silicon Island Technology Consortium, a professional association of technology companies in Alameda, CA, to provide enhanced visibility of those companies throughout the SF Bay Area.
