Susan Mackay is the President an CEO of Cerahelix, Inc. a high tech company that has developed an entirely new process for creating nanostructured ceramic materials used for molecular separations. Filtration products made from these materials can purify contaminated water faster and consume less energy than competing technologies.

 Dr. MacKay has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. While working at Physical Electronics she was part of a cross-functional product development team that successfully launched a high tech surface analysis instrument product. Following that she worked in corporate research and development at 3M, where her area of specialization was in surface analysis and materials characterization.

Susan was a 2009 Top Gun graduate.
