John Wipfler, Darrin Landry

Mobile Health Group, LLC, provides innovative and cost saving diabetic diagnostic services to clients. With diabetes and obesity at an explosive growth rate, costs are skyrocketing. Through state of the art mobile imaging technology and reading centers, screening for at-risk, pre-diabetes and diabetes can be done on site, saving patients and employers time and money in the short term. Identifying at risk or pre-diabetics is crucial for monitoring and early intervention, saving payers money in the long run. Routine screening of known diabetics leads to increased compliance, therefore saving payers in both the short and long term.

Darrin Landry, CRA, OCT-C.,Chief Technical Officer- Darrin Landry has worked in medicine for 26 years, starting as a certified surgical technician in the military. He became an ophthalmic photographer and technician in 1989, and has worked primarily in retina practice. In 1999 he started a medical consulting company, Bryson Taylor Inc, and has served as an ophthalmic consultant for many academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, imaging system companies and private medical practices.

John Wipfler, JD, MBA., Chief Executive Officer- John has been an executive in the health care industry for over 20 years. He is currently CEO of OA Centers for Orthopedics. Prior to that he was chief executive officer of Eyecare Medical Group, in Portland, Maine. His other health care related experience includes positions first as general counsel and then as executive director of the Maine Health Care Finance Commission, assistant attorney general for the State of Maine representing the Department of Human Services on health finance and regulatory matters, and healthcare attorney at Pierce Atwood. Mr. Wipfler earned his BA in psychology at Antioch College and both his JD and MBA from Boston College. Mr Wipfler is sometimes faculty on leadership development programs for senior executives.
